CluBarham

Our annual golf and tennis trip has been booked in July, and so it’s now time to look in your diaries and see if you are free to come along? 

Over the last couple of years, we’ve enjoyed the more temperate climes of Rich River Golf Club on the Murray in Moama/Echuca. It had been a popular venue, and so we are continuing to hold our trip at one of these “northern” clubs, but thought we’d try another along the Murray this time around.

We’ve booked 2 nights “stay and play” at Club Barham Golf Club, Wednesday and Thursday July 3rd and 4th, checking out Friday.

• LOCATION: ” Accommodation at Comfort Inn, Club Barham, 45 Murray St Barham.

• DATE: Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th July, 2024

• Golf and Tennis are at Club Barham Golf course, approx. 4 kms from accom.

• PRICE: 

• Golfers - for 2 night stay and play - $250 per golfer (single or for those wanting their own room $370) This price includes - 2 nights accom, 2 rounds of golf, cart hire, 2 x $20 meal voucher, egg and bacon roll with coffee at the Golf Club.

• Non Golfers - for 2 night stay $150 per person (single or for those wanting their own room                  $270) This price includes - 2 nights accom, tennis court hire, 2 x $20 meal voucher, egg and bacon roll with coffee at Golf Club)

• Golf times booked: Wednesday, 1pm for 32 players, Shot Gun start. (Please advise if you will arrive for that time) Thursday, 10am Shot gun start. (Our competition day.)

• Tennis competition: TBA.

 

Other things to note:

- As we have only 20 rooms booked, bookings are needed please by May 30th.

• Evening dining options: There are many pubs and restaurants in Barham, including Don’s Kitchen (Chinese/Malaysian) across from the accom. We will aim to do as in previous years where we all dine together on the final night for presentations. Venue TBA.

• GOLFERS, If you can’t arrive in time to play on Wednesday July 3rd, you can have your second game on Friday July 5th instead, but will need to book your own tee time directly with the Club.
