LCC Summer Classic...and the winner is!

Another fantastic Summer Classic has been run and won.  The Stableford 'best three-card' format saw over 50 entries, countless rounds and ultimately some impressive scoring.  A great turnout for the presentation last Sunday night at The Peak crowned our champions and celebrated another summer season.  Plenty of tales of triumph and 'what could have been' filled the room.  A special shout out to all those involved in facilitating this great competition.

For those unfamiliar with January golf/tennis in Lorne, it takes a lot of people to make our club thrive during this time of peak visitation.  No less than 59 volunteers manned our tee box across a whopping 90 shifts. On average, we had 100 rounds of golf played every day and countless tennis matches.  A heart felt thank you goes to everyone who assisted. 

There is plenty coming up as regular weekly club competitions are set to restart (more on this to come, including the 2026 syllabus) and let's not forget our Friday Mixed Chicken run which rolls on and provides a warm welcome to all comers each week.
